Vacancies & Volunteering
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Without them, there wouldn’t be a thriving arts scene in villages around the region. Volunteers are not only responsible for promotions in their villages, but work directly with Highlights, acting as board members, inputting data and helping with publicity distribution.
If you are interested in having a more active involvement with the arts in your area, we’d love to hear from you.
Become a Trustee
Highlights are seeking new Trustees to increase the skills, knowledge and lived experience of our Management Committee and to support our strategic vision in the years ahead.
While we are keen to hear from anyone with an interest in rural touring and Highlights’ work, we particularly encourage applications from people with disability, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, young people and people who identify as LGBTQIA+.
We are also specifically seeking candidates with these skills:
- Human Resources
- Press and communications
The role of Trustee is voluntary, but all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. There are four Trustee meetings each year, these are usually held in Cumbria or Northumberland but are also accessible via video conferencing.
For more information about the role of a Trustee and details of how to apply please download our Trustee information pack.
For an informal chat about Highlights and to find out more about being a Trustee please get in touch with Kate Lynch, Director at [email protected] / 017683 53954.
The deadline for applications is Monday 30 November 2020.
