Aileen Kelly – Props & Costume workshop in County Durham

In early October Newcastle based artist, Aileen Kelly, will be bringing a Props and Costume workshop to Jack Drum Arts, Crook, County Durham, as our first Participate workshop for Autumn Term this year.

Aileen will be working with an community youth group at St Cuthbert’s Centre in Crook. Jack Drum Arts is a sustainable, locally-based social enterprise and Arts organisation providing cultural opportunities for communities in County Durham.

Aileen is part of our new Production, Technical and Media Creatives artist rosta, for Participate. Aileen specialises in set and costume design. She has designed shows across the North East with companies such as Mortal Fools, Little Cog and Southpaw Dance Co. She has also worked as a scenic artist for Northern Stage and a dresser for The Sunderland Empire and Durham Gala Panto.
