Wreay Village Hall
Wreay is a small village around five miles south of Carlisle.
The Village Hall is on Chapel Hill, a road just off the centre of the village and just past the church. There is a dedicated car park at the hall, as well as parking on the roadside. We serve drinks before the performance and in the interval.
The Plough Inn also serves food most evenings from 5.00 p.m. https://www.facebook.com/ploughinnwreay
In the centre of the village is St Mary’s Church: https://www.stmaryswreay.org – a unique building with a fascinating history and there is a heritage centre, down the road from the church, dedicated to Sarah Losh, the architect of this little church. Both are well worth a visit.
A good walk can be taken in Wreay Woods, where the bluebells are worth seeing in May.
