** Ruth Lyon has recently won a Danny Award (which is amazing, obviously – more info here!), we have therefore had to postpone their original dates due to the timing of the award ceremony. The new dates are as listed above – 25-27 Oct, 15 Nov – and we are really sorry if this has caused any confusion. **
Ruth Lyon & Conrad Bird are lead singers and songwriters of acclaimed cult-folk rockers Holy Moly & The Crackers. With the band, they have sold out shows all over the UK and Europe, performed at innumerable festivals – Cropredy, Glastonbury and Colours Of Ostrava in Czech Republic – and had their songs featured on film and TV, most notably Hollywood’s Blockbuster Ocean’s 8.
Now they have set out as duo, performing acoustic versions from their Holy Moly & The Crackers catalogue, traditional folk songs and their own self-penned ballads, fuelled by many a late-night bottle of the house red and writing their own style of rough, earthy folk songs – full of ghosts, memory, love, heartbreak and the endless dream of the road.
